Chef Jenny Ward
Jenny has a cum laude qualification from the ICA, and experience in South Africa and Australia. She was Sous Chef at Bizerca Bistro in Cape Town. Prior to this, she worked for private jet catering company Par-Avion preparing gourmet cuisine.
Jenny’s true love, however, is cooking honest food using simple traditional techniques with raw ingredients from her selection of carefully sourced suppliers. Jenny’s passion for wood-fired cooking began while doing a stint as private chef for a family on the Kwazulu Natal coast of South Africa.
Chef Jenny’s kitchen, under her inspiring lead, consistently produces beautifully curated seemingly simple meals with intriguing flavour nuances brought about by her subtle and skilled use of her wood fired masonry oven.
